Which game has your favorite art style?

For myself it's XIII. I love the comic book look to it which is used great for the cut scenes and certain weapon kills. If you kill somebody by a knife throw to the head or a crossbow bolt you see three boxes to the side showing the kill in a comic like way.

Then after that it's Bound By Flame due to the scenery. To me it looks like the same art style that Telltales uses which looks great. For that village which is located in the swamp the developers did a great job on designing them. Instead of them blending in with the background they pop out at you. When you go inside the inn small things like the shingles stand out as well.

Although I can appreciate games that do go down the photorealism route, and I have no issue with them, and actually enjoy a lot of them.

Fallout (The whole retro look they've got going on in the pre-war stuff is awesome)
Halo Reach/ Halo CEA and H2A (Best art style from any Halo)
Mass Effect (The spacecraft designs, mainly.)

Even though I am terrible at shooter games I really liked the Borderlands games art style. I tried playing the second one, but like I said I sucked so I had to get my fiancé to beat all the bosses for me. I think I only made it to the second boss before I gave up. The only reason I started to try and play it was because of the art style since it looks so different than other shooter type games.

rayman origins & legends are fucking GORGEOUS

voodoo vince also has a pretty neat art style, even with its early 2000s 3d graphics

can't forget them cel shaded games

fallout's retro-futuristic 50s atompunk style and crimson skies: high road to revenge's 30s dieselpunk style are both pretty erection inducing

just cause 2's bright, saturated colors are literally bae

basically, i like my vidya either colorful and/or cartoony or gritty and zeerusty

It's a cinematic though, so I wouldn't really put it hand in hand. Besides, odds are it was early too. Teaser Trailers rarely represent the final game.

-Wolfenstein TNO. Just got into it and I quite like the design of it all, though similarly cell shaded in areas.

Telltale games in general look very good. Game of Thrones was kind of hit and miss with the oil painting look, it looked good at some points whereas at others it just looked really low quality.
Borderlands has a great art style.
GTA games always look fantastic.

There are points where the game looks great, but yeah, most of the time it looks shit and horribly aliased.
