Any game. That one boss that just completely fucks you over and walls your progress completely for hours on end? That one boss that shoves its foot up your ass sideways and gives your organs a good old rummaging.

NPC-wise, I recall Croc having a particularly cancerous fight against a ladybug wearing boxing gloves.

Even after replaying Dark Souls several times, I still really struggle with Quelaag, especially if I haven't accidentally over-leveled or upgraded sufficiently. Whenever I beat her I do so pretty easily and it feels like a fluke after numerous other tries.

right now tho, it's the Shadows of Yarnham. Ornstein and Smough was easy for me, I beat them third try, but the first time I thought "yeah, I've got these guys figured out". But when you're facing three people and you don't want to run away, you tend to get fucked by small errors.

I especially hate that they have three evolutions.

I'd have beat them and Gwyn much faster and easier if it didn't take 5 minutes to get to them. It makes me mad that I have to run for 5 minutes through enemies to get another chance at fighting them. I can't think straight, and I do more mistakes.

Lawton from Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds World Championship 2011. You can literally lose before you even get a turn on top of the fact that this comes early in the game before you even have a chance to obtain cards that stop burn damage, never mind doing so consistently. And to make things better you have one of the game's obtusely programed AIs as a partner which honestly slows you down more than it helps.

Heh it's been so long I've played any sort of game where there are "bosses" I can't actually remember. Saddens me really boss fights used to be my favourite part of a game.

I got tired of dying so I went back and picked the Nosferatu with the rail guns on and pretty much cheated lol

I wanted to try to beat him in a F-15 but that jet handles like a muscle car. Still love it to death tho
