Okay, If I really want to, I can buy both of these, but I want to be wise here and only buy one.

So I can get a wired 360 controller (which is white and used btw.) The reason is because I can use another controller for my PC. Not only that but I can have a friend use a wired controller as well as me using a wired one so no batteries would ever have to be bought again. Keep in mind I already own 1 black wired controller.

Or

I can get a wired Xbox headset since my wireless one is really tedious and requires me to charge it. I don't talk to friends often anymore, but it blows that I have to charge it if the battery gets low in the middle of a conversation or game, and this is the Bluetooth headset mind you that goes down on battery.

So with that said, which one do you think I should buy and why?

Controller. Mics are overrated (and crazy cheap on eBay, yo).

I suppose so. I'll see what the overwhelming vote is over time. If it's the controller after about a week from today, I'll buy the controller.

I'll just have to choose an option in terms of price. Lowest is $20 with $3.99 shipping, and the other one with my Amazon Prime Membership is $34.99 with 2 day free shipping.

Two wired controllers never worked for me on the Xbox 360. Was this changed?

If you mean the console doesn't have enough USB ports, it's still like that.

As far as wired controllers go, they have never failed me. Same with the wireless ones.

My Original Xbox Controllers to this day still work.

I mean, like, whenever I try to plug in and use two wired controllers, the second one doesn't work, and I am forced to use that one as wireless.

Oh. Nope. I've never had that problem. Sounds like a USB port issue with the console and not the controller.

Wired controllers are better.

You know, now that I'm thinking more and more about it, I can get a 2.5 to 3.5mm converter and use my PC mic as my wired mic, so you're right.

The only risk factor though is that it could short circuit the controller, at least according to some people.

Should cost me around $2 for that converter though.
