It's actually a kickass mod. Fully voiced NPCs that have tons of branching dialogue (and a few quests).

For some reason I never get around to testing out if the cannibalism perk works with the killable children mod, for uh... reasons... <_<

Ahh can you imagine how wonderful it will be to have killable children on the console versions, get back from work and sit down on the sofa to then start splitting kiddy skulls with a bladed baseball bat e.e

That's what I'm considering doing, fallout new Vegas seems better to mod
yeah Fallout 3 has a tendency to crash like Malaysian Airlines on Windows 7 or 8.1 and it will probably only get worse on 10

You sound start by uninstalling the game.

Really though, fussy thing you want to do is update your character skeleton, and download she kick ass animation overhauls.

There's a lot you can do once skeletons have been upgraded.

Unofficial Fallout Patch - Fixes a shit-ton of basic things, including the DLC radio additions spoiling the game early
GNR Enhanced Radio - Adds about 100 20's-40's themed songs to it)
Fellout - A basic filter remover, which makes it look less grimy and green. Believe me, even if you didn't notice it, it's surprisingly nicer without it.

I use these 3 because my laptop is pretty taxed as it is playing it, and they certainly freshen the game up a bit at minimal cost to performance.
