Arkham Knight The Perfect Crime Side Mission

Spoilers regarding the side mission follow, but please don't post spoilers regarding anything but this side mission, I haven't finished the game.

So, with this side mission I expected Hush, or Dollmaker once I learned of the Salon name, and didn't expect anything too bad, as I wasn't really affected at all by the Hush side mission in City.

I think it's safe to say I was completely unprepared for Professor Pyg. I had heard of him and his Dollotrons or whatever before this but I didn't expect to see him in the game. That encounter managed to make me feel somewhat physically ill. I think it's now quite apparent why Arkahm Knight is rated M for mature.

I had the same expectations as you did, although I had never heard of him.

There are other moments to justify the M rating. So prepare yourself (although, not for necessarily bad things).

I will say, the game does a very good job at making subtle things big.

There was one side mission that has me and my brother with our jaws dropped.

Now that you mention it, yeah they're extremely similar. At least the guy in BioShock didn't turn people into brainwashed husks though.

I honestly think he's creepier here than he is in the comics. It's probably due to the addition of an auditory element, but I think this incarnation of the Dollotrons is more disturbing as well. It's more obvious that they're people whom Pyg has destroyed both physically and mentally. This is compounded by the whimpering sounds they make in GCPD lockup.

It's clear that Rocksteady was aiming for a T rating, but certain scenes such as the one at the movie studios resulted in it being rated M.

I wish they had more classic villains in the game, or at least have the villains like Penguin, Two-Face, and Harley Quinn have a bigger role like was advertised in the trailer.

Yeah I was somewhat disappointed by that. I also hated the way Scarecrow was beaten. They established him as my favorite incarnation of the Scarecrow, and a truly serious threat. And then they went ahead and had him defeated in the most unoriginal and anticlimactic way possible. We've seen Scarecrow get a taste of his own medicine hundreds of times, it just wasn't satisfying. In addition, his bio in the game even states that he has developed an immunity to his toxin as a result of prolonged exposure.

Alongside Firefly, Harley, Two-Face, especially Deathstroke, and my personal most hated, Man-Bat. So much potential for a man vs beast, technology vs natural weaponry boss battle completely thrown away.

Edit: oh, and the Knight himself. Forgot about him.
