Why is this so black?
Honestly I've never thought video game covers have been anything special compared to movie ones. But after digging around my collection I found some pretty cool ones.

Batman: Arkham City


& Hitman: Absolution

The angel agreed to trade a set of white wings for the head of another demon. Overjoyed, the demon killed one of his own and plucked the head right off its still-warm body.

The angel then led the demon to heaven, where he underwent centuries of the cruelest tortures imaginable. Finally, the pain was so great that he lost consciousness - at which point his dark wings turned the promised shade of white.
Cant recall anything else right now.

Goodness gracious, great balls of lightning!
Brood War's cover is awesome. Really sets the dark atmosphere perfectly for this Expansion.


Another favorite of mine.


This game was fun as hell back in the day


MK9's cover is pretty cool as well.
