I'm no MGS fan but it was definitely a great thread. Even though I don't plan on getting the game I could definitely feel the excitement. It'd be cool to get more threads like that for other big releases.

Thanks man. I thought it was a fun idea, and everyone just went with it.

It was pretty much ruined after Gatsby but there's still going to be lots of discussion, post-release. I too would like to see this idea for a thread expanded on to other things, like movies and like you said, other games.

I think it works a lot better than having individual threads that might not get the attention they need.

Tom Taylor is/was an MLG player who used to make videos giving tips on how to play Halo. Most of these tips were either incredibly obvious or just not particularly useful.
