Just because Valve dropped it doesn't mean it wouldn't get produced.It just means it'll have a smaller audience, which seeing as it's trying to attract a certain theme people aren't comfortable with anyway would only have a negligible affect on sales.Those who want the game could still get it elsewhere, and it doesn't make Valve look like it's supporting mass murders to the average person/ crazy anti-game radical.
Valve is by far the dominant PC market. Games live or die based on if they get on there.They already admitted that it broke no rules, that they don't want to be moral arbiters, and that it was a mistake to remove it. They apologized. Its been replaced. I really don't get why people keep trying to defend it after the fact. Kinda surprised how many people on here are more than happy to have major platforms like this censor games for 'moral' reasons. Especially since those same reasons can be used to censor games you do like.
