Unimpressed by Gears 4 beta

Anyone else? Yes, I know it is just a beta. More interested in campaign anyways, mp has always turned into the same thing for every release.

Yeah, some of those textures were jarring to look at. The whole game just felt off, not a smooth experience. Sounds would as not be as loud as they should. Terrible audio mixing. Compared to other betas, this one might be the worst I've tried in a while.

Haven't been impressed with the multiplayer of these games since the second one and I didn't even play that until a couple of years ago. The gears games are a pretty baron experience if you ask me.

Agreed. I heard the Retro Lancer is coming back though. Thing is, the game does nothing to build upon the foundations of the franchise. Unless they haven't revealed an original new mp experience yet, something new like Warzone. I'm not saying the exact same type of thing, but something other than 5vs5 on arena maps would be good for Gears.

Despite being 24 years old it's going to take you years until your body and mind is ready to handle the testosterone rush this manly series known as Gears of War releases. You're unimpressed due to your body not being ready yet to play real man games which are about real men in a real mans war using real man weapons.
