I hear there's this monsters vs humans thing going on but you can spare enemies?

can I just be a total pro human and kill every monster I see?

I've only played the demo but I found it to be fairly good. It's not a mind shattering masterpiece or anything but in the cesspit of hipster trash and abandoned early access games that the indie games market has become it's certainly a gem.

If you really are wanting to do genocide first for whatever reason, then make sure you do it properly, you gotta kill absolutely everyone, don't stop until there's no one left to kill

Also, the greatness of the story comes out when you do the pacifist run. Meaning you don't kill anyone, because then you can get the true ending and all the characters personalities show, as well as the writing. And if you haven't caught on by now (god help you), the monsters aren't evil.

If you're just randomly killing people, you're gonna finish the game half assed with a "meh" ending for the most part. You'll also be missing a handful of characters and reveals.
