that is pretty much all you do but underground was the first one to let you get off of your skateboard and drive vehicles and do other crazy shit. also had a cool map making thing.

I never played the skateboard games but it sounds cool. I was more of a GTA kid (of course at my friends house my parents didn't get me GTA

Well, there's the arcade appeal of combos, scores, and beat-the-clock objectives.

When it first came out I thought it was amazing.

I replayed it recently and beat it in about three hours.

Turns out that when I was younger I had a bigger imagination and I sucked at Tony Hawk games.

My cousin and I used to no-life THUG1, THUG2, and American Wasteland. We spent so much time dicking around in the games that we discovered countless glitches, and could break out of pretty much every single map.

I look back at it now, and laugh at the messages they send: "question authority, duuude! Now go blow up that building for some radical skate park pieces."

Hell yes, that's the best Tony Hawk game. I spent so much time on that game trying to unlock all the hidden characters. I think I almost did too. I felt like a total badass when I unlocked Gene Simmons. His special move was hilarious.

The only thing left that I had to do in the game was to find every single gap in the game, and that is damn near impossible.

I used to have Underground 2 on my GameCube when I was younger until it broke. My roommate just brought in his own GameCube and had it, which is awesome.
