No titan really strikes me as having such an interesting or unique way of playing them though. It's not as if the titan combat is that deep or complicated. But I can see why some wouldn't like Tone.

It's all about countering your weaknesses and exploiting the weakness of others

Like with Legion
He's so vulnerable if you can get close to him so all you need to do is get up close and you can slaughter him
But as Legion, all you have to do lay down continuous fire and  they'll be deterred and run away

But Tone is just straight up "shoot as much as you can"

When you see a Ronin triple dash + phase shift across the map towards you

God forbid if he's doomed, better hope you can dash out that blast radius.

Does anyone actually use the grenadier weapons? They seem pretty useless compared to the rest.

Also, two of my biggest complaints:

- Doing damage to titans does not give points.
- Weapon balance making it so that there's really no point in picking different weapons than a select few. For example, why pick any other LMG than the Devotion when it does more DPS, has a higher fire rate, is equally good in close quarter situations and has practically zero recoil? They did a good enough job making all weapons viable enough, but some being objectively better in pretty much every single way is a bit disappointing.

This reminds me: why did they take AT weapons out from being their own part in loadouts. In TF1 you got  your Primary, your sidearm and your AT weapon. Why Change this?

The SMR for example used to be a dedicated AT weapon  called the Sidewinder. It COULD kill pilots but it was not ideal.

Grenadier weapons are suppose to be challenge weapons
They're totally usable though and loads of fun if you can get the hang of it

Devotion is OP but L Star is pretty good for high mobility players
Spitfire lost some chromosomes in development

If you're a meta hemlok/ devotion abusing faggot then yeah the grenadier weapons are bad but they're all completely useable aside from the cold war.

Sidewinder is a 2HK against pilots and does moderate damage against Titans - good for an LTS primary.

Softball is great fun to use and surprisingle effective. It's a 1HK if you stick someone with it and otherwise a great spammy explosive weapon (My most efficient one). Also great for clearing squads of infantry in attrition and bounty hunt.

EPG-1 is a 1HK against pilots and pretty fun to use, from my little experience outside coliseum. Apparently it's decent against Titans.

Plus, the GLs' being alright at harassing Titans mean you can equip a sidearm. Hammond P2016 and RE-45 are my favourites but all are decent.
