Considering that Titans would eventually run out of ammo and using it's fist could damage the arm unit. A solid melee weapon makes sense.

I hope this means more melee weapons in general, not just one.

I'd love to have axes, hammers and whatnot.

The parts about the Pilots are really interesting. I always thought it was strange than McAllan would disapear during the battle of Demiter, but the sub dermal implants for the cloaking tech sheds a bit more light on that.

It will be incredibly interesting if it turns out that it is Hammond's son regenerating the Pilots. To what end would he be doing it I wonder.
