Quote from: Mr. Admirals on April 11, 2016, 11:09:27 AMYouTube>giant fucking sword>animeanimeanimeanimeWell, that dropped my hype levels.Respawn openly admited the designs of the Titans (espesialy the Strider) were always based at least parialy on anime like Code Geass.
Can we still let our Titans move by themselves?
I hope they don't add any more titans. The sandbox in #1 was pretty well balance and another titan class would ruin it.
Sit back Admirals, this is my territory to shill in.
It's called Titanfall 2 because it will only last two weeks
Quote from: ChaosMetalDragon on April 11, 2016, 11:39:52 AMSit back Admirals, this is my territory to shill in.Apparently I'm the only one not allowed to defend things I like on this website then. I don't think design from anime is a valid argument. Either the design is good, or it's bad. I've learned that much discussion on here. It'd be one thing if it was a knife, like how Avatar did it with their mechs, but this is a full on buster sword.

I mean the sword honestly dosn't look that big in proportion with the Strider. Most certainly not Buster Sword levels of huge.

It's fine proportionally. From the screenshot it looks like it might be a short sword or a machete since it's nowhere near that length.

Not an energy sword, not a melee buffer field, not even an EMP Knife (why not a larger data knife?). dn't.

I'd rather see a sword swing give extra range than having Ogres Falcon Punching their way across the map faster than I can sprint with a Strider.
