It's generally not too well known throughout the Halo community from what I've seen. Surprising, but it is what it is. Like, most people still haven't put IsoDidact's words to GS alongside GS' quotes in CE.

I don't understand, if Bungie planned this from the beginning, why did the decided to do Destiny instead of continuing the story of Halo (besides multiplayer)

Um it's actually the very definition of public speaking. An oral presentation designed for a large audience. As somebody speaking for an audience, live or online, you need to be able to be clearly understood by the listeners. If you don't understand this, than clearly the only moron is yourself.
