Better character back story. We learn that this Guardian won a PS4 and the game from Taco Bell, and that he is from New Jersey. Not that he just merely died and was resurrected.

I actually would watch a TV series or movie about that dude who got transported the Destiny universe from winning a taco bell contest and his journey to become humanities savior.

He's infinitely more interesting than.... whatever we are as the player.

What the fuck did we even guard against? We were running around attacking random places that had almost no connection to each other and went go on a scavenger hunt to kill a floating pulsating piece of shit. It's not like we even secured any of the territory we pushed "the darkness" out of anyway. How the fuck is humanity supposed to reclaim its solar system (much less its home world) if it refuses to even step outside the walls of the city that apparently don't even need to be defended from anything since the only time you'll ever visit the wall is if you're playing a crucible match on a certain section of it.
