Thinking of getting a PS3, what games should I get?

I'm going to get MGS Legacy Collection.

Already have TLoU on PS4.
Buying UC Collection for PS4.

No racing games, fighters, or sports games.

I think the only one I want that isn't on ps4 is ni no kuni, but that's probably not up your alley. Journey is good if you want the cheap version.

r&c: a crack in time is very good, except it feels a lot more... kiddish, and that might turn you off

I'd say Valkyria Chronicles but that's on PC now, so whatever. There is of course a wide selection of JRPGs if you're into that stuff.

InFamous is dated, I can't recommend it. Especially after playing Second Son (though I don't know if you have played that or not).

R&C Collection, and potentially Deadlocked if you like the arena-styled missions from R&C2/3.

Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction/A Crack in Time -- ACIT is the magnum opus of the series, IMO.

Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus -- the latest R&C game, sequel to ACIT. Not all that great but not horrible either. Fun enough to sink a few hours into.

Jak and Daxter Collection.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance -- pretty shit Metal Gear game but fun enough to sink a few hours into. Bought it at Gamestop for $5.

Metal Gear Solid/Metal Gear Solid 4 -- I'm pretty sure MGS1 comes with the Legacy collection, and they just added MGS4 to the PS Store. Must-plays if you want to understand MGSV, or just have a good time in general (MGS4 less so, but whatever.)

It's a decent game, but not a great Jak and Daxter game. Most fans hate it, though, and don't really consider it canon.

Haven't gotten around to getting SS yet. Playedd like 5 minutes over Shareplay.

Size Matters was okay, but it was kinda watered down. They had a third party work on it, and it really does have that "new dad trying to act like your old dad" feel to it. It's weird. Don't bother with Secret Agent Clank.

Buying collections is kinda sketchy. If you wanna just save money, fine, but with these kinds of ports, you're obviously gonna come across various problems. R&C Collection has some frame rate issues, graphical oddities here and there, and the music doesn't loop properly. Just be aware of that.

Oh yeah, I was thinking about the HD Collection.

As for InFamous, like I said, I can't recommend it. But maybe you'll like it, IDK. I would still play some of the other games people have suggested before playing it.

List of priorities, IMO:

MGS Games (MGS1-MGS4, including PW)
Ratchet and Clank Games (Deadlocked can be skipped)
Jak and Daxter games (The Lost Frontier can be skipped)
/////
Anything else.

But that's just me, maybe.

i don't realy want to spend more money for a PS2 and the original versions (which are stupidly priced too), so that isn't really an issue.
