I think it's in the state it should have launched in now. The heroes are also far better than the Battlefront 2 heroes.

You might as well try it out and if you don't like it, you don't like it.

Tried playing it a few months back and the balance is completely fucked now on most of the maps in Walker assault. The rebels pretty much won every game because they took away all of the vehicles for the imperials on later phases while letting the rebels keep all of theirs.

Yeah. It often has multiple heroes on each side.

Well I just won a game of Battle Station as the Empire without R2 even leaving the room. We had 3 gun turrets parked just inside the doorway mowing all the rebels down hahaha

I don't know if it's that bad, because I haven't played WA since the update, but DICE did previously kind of over-nerf walker health on some maps. The Bryar pistol from Death Star also kills walkers dead.

I kick all sorts of ass in the Death Star playlist but I do pretty awfully on modes like Walker Assault. No clue what to do about that

It's basically Instant Action from the old games, but it's only Walker Assault and Fighter Squadron and in terms of DLC it only has the free maps (Jakku, Survivors of Endor, Twilight on Hoth) and guns/heroes. It's quite nice since you can test out a weapon before you actually unlock it.

It's nice for screenshots and getting a game in when it's late, but I wish it was more.

I just played my first online game in quite a while, Battle Station is really fun and I hope it gets fleshed out in the sequel. Also got to play as R2, so that was cool.
