It's probably gonna be an eyegasm since GoW1 was graphically brilliant when it came out.

The problem with that is no Horde mode...and it seems like MS doesn't want another MCC incident. Or maybe they could at least get a Gears 2 style horde mode running on the base mp maps. Gears 1 campaign is amazing, but it is still only 2 players. I'm sure the game will look phenomenal, but I also want it to add something new, but it most likely wont. (I may be jumping to conclusions)

H2A multiplayer was built from the ground up, they were able to add forge that way. Maybe this will be a complete remake too?

H2A MP use a modified Halo 4 engine that mimics Halo 2.

I'm fine with that. The first game is the only one I really wanted to be able to play on the Xbone. But I do hope this isn't going to be a thing with the Xbone. I'm fine with games like Tomb Raider and Last of Us getting ported over due to other games. With Tomb Raider all the sequels would be on the 8th gen and not last gen. Then with Last of Us it's the same thing but with a lot of non-PS3 people getting a PS4 which missed out on the game. But for Gears I really don't want to see a lot of last gen games being ported over to this just for the sake of making money. I didn't get my Xbone and PS4 to play last gen games.

Eh, I enjoyed 3 the most, 1 was really bland wih not much to do.
2 was a big improvement and the MP was fun, 3 had a couple of new game types and added new things that worked well.

This remake is really just for the fans.

To me it makes sense to have GOW1 remaster in 2016 obviously, although I would like it this year. Then that would mean Black Tusk's other project would be released in 2017, or we could have both in 2016. Or another possibility, the GOW1 remake this fall, which I would be okay with. Maybe it has been in the works for a while. There's definitely a huge market of GOW fans who haven't upgraded, but I wonder how long MS can keep them waiting. Imagine if this fall had a Gears, Halo, and Battlefront.

Gears is literally the most boring game in existence.
