The guy considered the PS4 the poor mans console because the only reason why people bought the thing is because of its price. To him nobody bought it because people liked it better than the Xboone or because of games. Just because of the price. Then with the 360 even though its launch price was cheaper than the PS3. He doesn't consider that the poor mans system and people bought it for other reasons besides the price. Then he made a thread condemning PlayStation people for being made about that unknown Tomb Raider deal with Xbox. But yet sometime before that he made a thread bitching about the deal with Destiny and PlayStation.

I will admit that the UI is really slow and kinda shit. But once you realise double tapping the home button during games you can pretty much get to everything you need. Still lags like a bitch tho.

You'll be paying the same amount of money for the same amount of content though. Currently Xbox users are paying the same amount of money for less content. Now if they were coming out at the same time, but playstation users were paying the same amount of money as xbox users yet missing a third of the games content it only to be told that it may release sometime for that platform at a later date then it would be on the same level. Especially since there isn't even a guarantee that said content will even be available freely.

Also do we have any proof that it's sold so much more on Playstation that this act is completely out of left field? If you only count the titles that have released on both for the 7th gen only? Of course if you were to count total franchise sales it would, but I'm interested in recent history. IIRC both the playstation and xbox versions of the games sell roughly the same with the sales differences only being in the thousands range. Which may sound like a lot, but when you take into account the total number of these consoles sold it's pretty much just a drop in the bucket.

EDIT: lol i forgot about the "Tomb Raider" reboot that was so forgettable that i didn't even remember it came out. Here I was thinking that "guardian of light" was the last tomb raider game released. Why are people upset over this game again? It'll be as forgettable as its predecessor.

To be clear I don't like timed exclusiveness at all, but some cases are worse than others.

What? The 360 had a ton of input lag on their dashboard. Maybe not these newest models, but the original and the first and second wave of black Elites were like that.

I've adjusted to the UI, though it is very slow and unresponsive. Apps crash way too often and I usually find myself hesitant to open a message just so I don't have to deal with that 30 second freeze.

You're right to a degree, but like you said, you had just received the Console. Over time you'll come around.

Not sure how anyone could describe the ps4 UI as a 'cluster fuck'. One of the smoother and more intuitive UI's I've used. Very easy to navigate and to find what you're looking for. Like lemin said its just up/down and left/right. Only issue I had coming over from 360 was how long that main line of games was getting, and they fixed that with the 2.0 update.
