My steam was being weird and I received 2 friend requests from people who haven't even finished creating their accounts while playing WoT. The frontpage lagged out so I had to relog. When I did so Steam told me somewhere in Japan my account had been used. I have a feeling those friend requests were some sort of anchor or seed or some other technical term.

Thought I would highlight this in case anyone else runs into it.

Got another random friend request, this time it was a level one with a weeb avatar picture. They're persistent.

My Steam account got accessed from Japan once, but my email was accessed from Salt Lake City, UT at the same time (I was an idiot and had both passwords the same. I suspect someone took my credentials from a university computer). That person was most likely using a VPN to make it appear as though they are from Japan, which was the case with my would-be hacker man. Luckily, I'm an internet genius and the thief didn't have time to remove my access to the account.
