This thread was a joke dude. At the time of posting there was 4 dark souls/blood borne threads on the front page

I know, that's what I was just getting at with the "you don't need fifty threads" bit. Persona's fanbase is a waifufag circlejerk, but the games aren't bad. Same thing with Dark Souls. I'm just tired of seeing it everywhere, and that's why I gave a serious response. I guess the sentiment isn't appreciated outside of Serious, or something like that.

Except it doesn't actually prove shit. KYM isn't an infallible authority on memes. This is one of those things that's just a basic truth, though. Dark Souls has an infinitely more cancerous fanbase than any game in the last year. Donkey Kong has to be one of the lowest.

I enjoy playing it - and I didn't get into it from the memes. The community is literally pure cancer.
