I've never played it, so I have no clue. But Halo seems to be failing as a franchise rapidly, so I just wanna know.

343 didn't release a population counter, so we don't know. It fell off the top 10 charts back in December tho, so I would say no more than 15k actually play it everyday.

I was taking a few minutes but there was a few of us on a party. I only got major lag on one game out of about ten where I got kicked out of HCE.

If each game had 15k players each, the game would still be on the top 10 charts. You don't stay on top 10 once you dip below 20k usually.
