anyone care to add each other's super secret bases is ORAS? If people are interested go ahead and post your QR code and I'll post mine!

Every Pokemon game is always the same, is it not? Also, Gen 1 is the best.

They follow a similar formula but they aren't just clones of the previous generation of games.

Some generations add more than others, like Gen 3 brought full colour and a lot more animation along with contests and the battle frontier. Gen 4 wasn't really all that ground breaking. Gen 5 is where they went for a proper story with some more interesting characters like N and Ghetsis along with the 3D stuff starting to appear. Gen 6 introduced a few gimmicky things and a few great things and streamlined a lot of the older mechanics to make the game a lot more enjoyable <.<

Then with ORAS, probably the two biggest changes are freedom of flying where you fly around Hoenn on the back of Latios/Latias and land wherever you like (within reason) and the DexNav which allows you to seek out specific pokemon and try to capture them with a new mechanic.
