Yeah, Rockstar is really insistent on not selling GTAV for anything less that $60. So they're throwing in monopoly money and old games to make it seem like it's worth that much still.

Any of you guys play games through Steam? If so do you have any recommendations of games currently on sale?
Personally I'm fond of Darkest Dungeon and Mirror's Edge, both are great games and well worth the price they're currently listed as. The Metro series is also really fun, and with 2033 Redux getting Last Light's engine it got a lot better.

Payday 2 is really fun with friends. I recommend it.

Borderlands 2 is pretty decent and always drops to less than $10 every sale.

Aside from that, if they're not already crazy cheap, they definitely will be: Batman Arkham series, Deus Ex: HR, Bioshock series, Assassins Creed series, Mass Effect series, Dishonored, XCOM, Fallout series, Tomb Raider, Torchlight II, etc...

You're not alone. I didn't get anything the last two years, but I picked up Homeworld remastered this time because I didn't have a chance to play the originals.
