Something I wonder about Fallout 4

So, if you pick a low intelligence, or hell a lowly charismatic character, will their voices slightly change?

It would be pretty cool if you got a guy with an intel of 1, and the voice actor sounds like a complete retard, this is what we all thought when we played the previous games, at least in our head.....I wonder if Bethesda can deliver.

Probably not. Wouldn't be surprised if interactions are exactly the same outside of a few special moments throughout the game.

The fact that all the characters recognize you by name (apparently) is already enough work to put on the VAs, I think.

I've heard that it isn't as good as they are making it out to be, with characters failing to recognize extremely common names.

Like stated above, mods are coming to consoles, but still, Bethesda wanted it to be a main part of their game. It'd be very stupid to turn it off when it's something they wanted to push.

It'd be like wanting the option to turn off the companion tree in NV because players liked the other more simplistic version in 3.

Not a good comparison, but you get my point.
