Well, what is to keep in mind is that in the game industry AI is trying to simulate intelligence. So it's all smoke and mirrors.Quote from: Prime Meridia on March 23, 2015, 10:30:09 PMShame about the AI intelligence though.

The AI in Starcraft 2 is pretty smart. They're even programmed to say "GG" if they're about to lose.
Again, it's the illusion that it's smart. It's just more successful into giving that illusion. (You can check on any AI for game development textbook)Quote from: Jono on March 24, 2015, 12:43:48 AMThe AI in Starcraft 2 is pretty smart. They're even programmed to say "GG" if they're about to lose.
So was the marine AI in Halo CE designed to accidentally run over Chief if they drive a Ghost?
Joining into a multiplayer game where the teams you join has a hilariously and painfully low score and the enemy team only needs two kills
Quote from: Jet Wave on March 24, 2015, 01:45:57 AMJoining into a multiplayer game where the teams you join has a hilariously and painfully low score and the enemy team only needs two killsThat happened to me once in Black Ops 2 when I joined late during a Team Deathmatch game. The other team needed just 2 kills to win while my team needed 12 more to win.I won the game by getting all 12 kills in a row for my team. I thought I'd hear some trash talk in the lobby after the match but nobody had their mic plugged in.

My best match in any CoD was 79-5 during a game of Domination in MW2.
