Someone Recomend me a good first/third person shooter

Preferably something simple with decent hit detection, where I dont have to have taken a god damn Master's Degree course in Navy Seals tactics to be able to play half decent, and where i'm not having hundreds of tons of napalm dropped on my every 5 seconds.

Turn on Lock/Strafe mode and viola, you got a mix between first and third person shooter camera.

Well Metroid Prime has a lock-on system, but no controlled camera (unless you literally stop moving).
I personally like the Metroid: Prime shooting style, just wish I could turn around a bit faster.

You could also try out TF2.

Unreal Tournament is fun af, even just playing against bots. Give the 2003 trial a go if you have a PC man, although you're pretty much restricted to the the "Instant Action" menu. Play a few games with different settings and tell me what you think :^)

halo isn't only a competitive game

i mean, not if youre playing action sack or fun customs or something. but i usually played the competitive playlists.
