Blur's Halo 5 cutscenes in H2A use the pre-Halo 4 design, and there's Elites in the gameplay screenshots that use the Halo 4 design.

All the backlash 343 got over the 'spartan-bros' was completely unwarented. People dont seem to get that the Spartan IVs arent the Spartan IIs, theyre regular people. And even though the War Games is a combat situation, at the end of the day all it's realy just a game and a competition between the spartan  IVS in all respects. On what grounds? That the spartan 4s arent the same as 'muh war hardened brick people'? And even if the S IVs were just carbon coppies of the IIs, it'not like this is game breaking in any way. Silly poses at the end arent gonna give the other team loadouts and armor lock in the next match. If you dont like the poses you should have simply asked for 343 to add an option to turn them off.

 I was honestly hoping we would get some Far Cry 3 type nonsense in the final buld were you'd chose your ending animation based on the person with the highest score or something, but now it's just walking tward the screen like Generic FPS cover Simmulator 2015

In Ghost of Onyx and in the Halo CE trailer the Elites used a shield that's similar. It was large enough for from to stand behind it.

In ghosts of onyx, the spartan 3s were small teens.  I don't remember the elites picking the shields off of jackals so they were probably fit for them.  Regardless, just because something fits canon doesn't it mean it should be put in or fun.   Spartan's can wrestle, disarm, put enemies in a head lock, strap c4 to themselves and allah akbar, carry a mongoose over their head, and dance.

Then on top of that it's one more thing for 343 to have to worry about balancing in multiplayer.

Who said it has to be in the MP? Not everybody that plays Halo plays it to masturbate to their stats. The thing can be in the campaign and for custom games. There is a thing called playing for fun.

343 isn't going to waste time and resources making 1 pointless armor ability, especially when over half the enemies carry weapons specializing in dropping said shields.  It'd be fucking retarded seeing a giants ass spartan crouching walking behind a jackal shield with a little ass pistol only to take 3-5 bullets and get raped.  Unless you play on easy that shield ain't gonna be worth a damn.

Have all the faces of Blue Team (other than Chief, of course) ever been revealed? If they haven't, I'd rather it stay that way, especially for Chief, because I feel like their anonymity gives them their character.

It's been described a bunch in the books, and at least some of their faces have been shown in the latest comics, but that's about it.

Fred and Kelly's faces were shown in FuD when they were young, and in Halo Legends: The Package.
Fred, Kelly and Linda's faces were shown in Halo Escalation: The Next 72 Hours.
Showing their faces makes literally no impact on anything because they aren't relevant, so them being shown doesn't matter, Chief included.

That's Didact saying that, as if the Forerunners can't do shit about it. And, previously, implying that he was talking about Humanity reclaiming things.

But, so far, it's even been talked about, the Reclaimation seems a little hostile. All this forerunner stuff showing up and making a mess of various worlds and Chief most likely tring to find out how to stop it.
