Incineration Cannon is back and has changed compared to Halo 4. players can charge up a shot and the longer you charge, the more powerful it is. Battery based rather than ammo based. railgun is back from Halo 4 and works almost identically - could hold up to 11 shotsOvershield was present had some weird screen effect when you picked it up - looked like a bugboltshot is here but doesn't work like halo 4 - no shotgun fire mode. fires two shots at once and sort of tracks playerssuppressor is back and fires a lot slowerblue outline on weapons was in the buildkillcams were disabled in the build, could spectate players while you were deadbr spread was near-gone - fired so fastspartan chatter was reduced hugely, less pointless calloutsspartan bro moments cut down. game ending segment is just your spartans walking towards the screen, no more highfives and shitkillfeed modified to be like this: "PLAYER NAME" "WEAPON KILLED WITH" "PLAYER NAME"pistol RoF is modified to be slower but is a lot more powerful - competes with AR and BRground pound is harder to use, radius is tinyovershield was bugged, my shields said i constantly had it even after death
i cant access that thread for some reason and the link to contact the community admin does nothing. fucking beyond.

Good thing the Team Beyond thread is gone so I dont have to fumble through a bunch of tryhards beating dead horses and bitching over nothing
Quotespartan bro moments cut down. game ending segment is just your spartans walking towards the screen, no more highfives and shit.It was pointless but I did like seeing the game not taking it self so seriously. To me the Spartans acting like humans was nice to see.
Boltshot: The shotgun ability on it was retarded, anyways.Incineration Cannon: it was just "press RT to annihilate everything on your screen in half a second". At least it sounds like it has some depth to it now.Suppressor: slower ROF doesn't mean worse gun. The game doesn't really have any autos that shoot slow, but pack a punch, and it'd be nice to see one: maybe it'd take some skill to use. Also, the light rifle is a beast, so at least there's that.

If all they did for Halo 5 is make is slower, its going to be worse.

Sure you have a few stiffs like Locke, and some airheads like palmer but the program in universe is mostly solid (exept for all the innies they keep letting in) and when it comes down ro it the Spartan 4s (Exept of course Palmer) have proven themselves as true heros.I also like what 343 is doing by drawing contrast between the Spartan IIs and 4s as well as questioning the ethics and true stability of the spartan 2 program as a whole, bringing debate which Spartan program was truely the better one.I don't really care about Halo much anymore. I wasn't even aware that Spartan 4s are somewhat more normal people. Part of what I always liked about the Spartans was that they were bred for war. The 4s don't sound as cool.

Quote from: Majestic Star Dragon on June 11, 2015, 06:08:08 AM you seem to have missed all of the ethical issues that the Spartan IIS are wraped up in, and the huge impact said issues are having on the story so far. "I don't really care about Halo much anymore." I have no interest in the next game or its lore. Just pointing out that I prefered the traditional Spartans and their creation over the dudebros. Might be an interesting story line or ethical question, but that's not something I really care much about. A few years ago, perhaps, but I don't even have a next-gen console and Halo 5 really doesn't look very good, so I'm not too interested.
