Basically same as you. It looks too good to be true, if it works like it does in the vid and how people have said I will be suitably shocked and incredibly pleased.

And on looks, it makes Morpheus and Oculus look fucking dumb

I think this is more Microsofts take on Google Glass, rather than them competing in gaming VR.

Meh. I have very little interest in VR in the first place. Double for Xbox/windows centered VR.

Considering how well the Kinect worked compared to how they advertised it working I'm not going to give them the benefit of the doubt.

MS has some ground to go before they prove to me they can compentantly handle modern hardware and software.

The idea itself is very good. For work related things it would make doing things like that bike or even fixing your sink a lot easier. But right now I don't think we have the tech to do what was being shown the video. Even if this thing is able to be released in lets say 2018 it's not going to work out all that great. The reason why are internet connections. In order for this thing to really shine the connection speeds need to be greatly improved. This is something that would be intended more for a place like Japan due to their internet speeds.

The Kinect and KinectV2 both got similar advertising, and look what happened to them.
