I guess Super Paper Mario was enjoyed, but I really wasn't prepared for the drastic genre shift. It felt sudden, and it left a horrid taste in my mouth when I first played it. I should probably try it again.

You know the Federation Force presentation makes me think that nintendo dosn't really get what people don't like about it.
They spent all the time trying to contextualize it in the Metroid Universe but at the end of the day it still looks like a collection of CoD Spec Ops Missions gameplaywise

And the waifufags that are into idolshit keep to idolm@aster and the waifufags that are into dungeoneering keep to dungeon crawlers. Two different niches in one game that both basically cancel eachother out.

Easiest way to see that it failed is the complete lack of fanart on pixiv. If you can't get the Japanese community to make art of a Japanese game that's 100% waifubait, it's basically doomed.

I got another hour ban for discussing Federation Force in a way that wasn't 100% positive. I didn't even say anything so negative about the game, just that it's co op mechanics were're nothing extraordinary and that the combat wasn't at least intense enough to make up for it.
