It's coming to PS4 and PC, and seeing as how it's not combat centric, should console and PC play together? I think it's needed in a game like No Man's Sky to be honest. If the developers actually pull through on the game, it will be fucking massive in scale, but would have a low population if servers were separated.

im assuming it will eventually be on the X1, so probably won't haappen. Unless MS really sticks to their guns on that indie policy.

I'm pretty sure PS4 players would still get wrecked.

The likelihood of you finding a player is slim, so I don't even think that matters.

They currently have no interest in Xbone and Sony is paying them a hefty sum of cash to keep it away. I doubt it.

As far as I'm aware it's never been called flat out 'exclusive' yet.

Then there's no point in having cross-platform servers, genius.

It's for exploration purposes and having a larger unified community. Every time someone finds something new, it's updated on every player's interstellar map. There are also economic systems that come into play like EVE a bit. Plus, it'd be weird to go on a forum, and having 2 different people talk about their universes. What if someone finds a dick mountain on one system, now the other people can't vask in it's glory on their system.
