More people play this instead of gaylo 5 pls
doesn't seem fun
As I kinda pointed out, the more notable parts of the game chatter tend to be the panicked screaming ones but that'd be down to it being a SHTF moment where people need to sort things out quickly to save one of the dinosaurs.

The less tense moments of the game are a lot more enjoyable, taming and raising up cool creatures is a lot of fun. I enjoy the building and quartermaster kind of stuff but that's perhaps not for everyone, exploring the island/center is perhaps the biggest draw though which we've only ever been able to do briefly in the past because of the MP limitations. Now that we can all play together without it being ruined by some 12 year old negroid it's a lot more enjoyable to just go around the map and find all the cool shit hiding in forests and mountains.

When we switch to the center map in a week or so, I'll try to stream it (depends if my connection can tolerate server hosting, streaming and playing without crapping out mind you) so that people can see what the game is like more easily.

The entire aspect of building structures and taming beasts is all fruitless when there's no real reason for it other-than 'We made a base to kill a few bugs and tame dinos' Talking PVE based stuff, what happens when you tame every creature? what happens when you build every tower to stand above everything in the server? -Who do you challenge?

Rust had this problem, too.

But you've already heard this from me so

That's the early game stuff, after you've tamed a bunch of dinosaurs and built a nice base you look for the caves hidden around the map which are along the lines of a raid or a dungeon depending on the difficulty of it. You fight your way through these caves with your dinosaurs and equipment to get to the artifacts at the end of them.
When you gather the right artifacts you use them to summon the endgame bosses (Dragon, Shelob and Harambe) to take on.

After that, you have kinda beaten the game content-wise.

Some of the future updates that are scheduled are going to include genetic engineering and the like so (hypothetically for the moment) you'd be able to splice up different creatures to make some spore tier abominations.
