Because sprint isn't a Spartan Ability.

They seem to be something everyone spawns with and can use on demand.

If only they would do away with abilities and sprint all together. . .One can only dream. . .

Not fine at all.
sprint was implemented poorly in reach and h4. the devs (especially bungie in reach) had no idea how to balance the maps around sprint. sprint isnt necessarily a bad thing as long as the maps are designed to flow well with the increased movement speed. that being said, i would much rather we remove all "abilities" and keep it h1-3 style- but, if we have to have sprint, it isn't the end of the world.
You shouldn't be able to just easily run away from a battle you're losing.
Quote from: DemonicChronic on November 09, 2014, 08:09:11 PMYou shouldn't be able to just easily run away from a battle you're losing. I've never been able to do this against good players. Using this as an argument makes no sense. If you truly encounter your target fleeing from you with sprint a majority of the time, then maybe you just can't aim correctly.
