As for the Sangheili, what excuse are they going to use now? In Halo 4, 343i said that the Sangheili evolved. What now? They could have based the design off of the Halo 2 Anniversary elites at least. The current models are a constant reminder of the space hicks that we encountered back in 4.
Literally the only issue with the use of the Halo 4 Sangheili model in Halo 5 is Thel 'Vadam.
Please rid of the trash before it festers further into my Halo.

Campaign could've gone better considering the sudden cliffhanger.

Matchmaking/Gameplay is without a doubt the best. Esp. with Warzone.

Halo 5 has many problems, but complaining about reusing assets that you literally see for half a second total is retarded.

I'll be the first to admit that Halo 5's story was pretty crap.

But at the same time, someone who has a pretty obvious bias against something is about as reliable as someone who gives everything a 10/10.

If I went to play FIFA and then said it's shit, I don't expect anyone to take me seriously because I don't like football and I think that football games are dumb anyway. You seem to have this superiority complex where you are always right and everyone else is wrong. I can't exactly take that seriously, nor the fact that you play games "but don't like gameplay" but then proceed to praise gameplay.

Have some consistency for once.

I thought we were making complaints of Halo 5. There isn't much to bitch about, mostly due to the lack of overall content I suppose. If the Promethean shitfest was less abundant and the pacing remained steady around most places, I probably would have enjoyed it more with my friends. Gameplay isn't canon. Never has been.
Gameplay being canon is fucking stupid, because it restricts literally everything.

If gameplay was canon, and augmented super soldier that was wearing power armour would only be capable of walking at a very slow pace, and 20th century bullets can shoot through titanium allow (a literal bullet proof material), somehow.
If gameplay was canon, augmented super soldiers are only capable of running by attaching a device to their power armour.
If gameplay was canon, augmented super soldiers would now be able to run in their power armour through the means of magic without any external device.

See how fucking stupid that is? Gameplay isn't canon. Never has been.
It massively limits the universe, and is just utterly retarded.

Plus Halo 5's gameplay is the closest it has ever been to matching what Spartans can do.
It's not like the Osiris Cutscene happened, and then threw you into CE's clunky ass slow gameplay.
Multiple things Osiris did in that cutscene (groundpound, sprinting, thrusters) are gameplay mechanics.

It doesn't matter if TFoR isn't a game, but H:Reach is. H:Reach contradicted TFoR in many ways, none of them being good or making sense.
H:Reach's contradictions and retcons were complete horseshit too.
TFoR and H:Reach now coexist because 343 had to fix Bungie's shit by releasing Data Drops that made them connect.

So I was thinking about a few things in the campaign...

What's the point of all the Guardians meeting up on Genesis? Couldn't Cortana have just sent them to the planet she wanted them to control without going to Genesis?

How could Cortana not have known about the Guardian on Sanghelios? Why was it not active? If it was going to Genesis all along, why would Osiris even need Roland's coordinates and the constructor? Couldn't they have assumed they were all going to the same place and that's where Chief is?

Games are inherently more important canonically than a book is when you consider that this is a video game universe. If it were up to me, Reach would've been canon and not TFoR. Though I bet most of you are glad it's not up to me.

Clambering, vaulting, groundpounding, even more sprinting, dodging and all that jazz makes it look like plays like CoD. Not saying I wouldn't enjoy it. Just saying it looks even more removed from the core gameplay I loved in Halo 1-3.
Groundpound and dodging aren't features from CoD, or something that CoD did before Halo.
Dodging has been in Halo since 2010. Advanced Warfare didn't release until 2014.

Saying sprinting makes it play like CoD is meme tier at this point because it's so ridiculously dumb.
Sprint isn't a CoD gameplay mechanic.

Same with clamber.
