Anyone here play this game?

For those who don't, there's no respawning, it's a slow methodical game (unless you're good), there's no straight up death match, and there's one hit headshots and realistic bullet damage. It's a different kind of shooter that takes a long time to adjust to, at least in my case, and map awareness/tactical play takes precedence over fast twitch reflexes. There's a free week event currently going on that ends September 3rd and it's a good opportunity to check it out.

I love this game and can't stop playing it. I currently play on Xbox but I'm honestly considering building a PC just so I can play it on there.

If there is anyone here that plays, who's your favorite operator(s)? Mine is Jäger and Thatcher.

For about two seconds out of every round before I'm teamkilled or kicked for absolutely no reason.

I had it but I didn’t have the balls to play humans yet and then it got stolen.

I feel ya. Back when I started playing in 2017 I was constantly teamkilled/kicked for picking a certain op, reinforcing rotation walls, not clutching 1v5s etc. I mostly play solo so running into 4 stacks that refuse to communicate and start acting toxic for the aforementioned reasons is extremely frustrating. Mixed with smurf accounts that crushed my team or would throw the match on purpose for the lulz, that almost turned me off from the game. But I paid $60 and it felt like a waste to stop playing entirely.

Yeah, the rampant toxicity in R6S fucking sucks, but pushing through it all and trying to enjoy the game is totally worth it.

the only experience i've had with rainbow six in general is the dreamcast game that i played for like ten minutes

otherwise, it's pretty much the exact opposite kind of game that i'm into

I had it as a PS4 disc and someone broke into my room 😔
