A cool idea for Halo 5

Two playable "races" for multiplayer, like Halo 2 or 3.
The difference being, they're both Spartans.

Spartan IIs with Mark IV-VI permutations available to them, and Spartan IVs with later permutations, like the ones we saw in Halo 4, available to them.

When you play in Warzone, one team is SIIs and the other is SIVs, like that one gametype in Reach, and in other multiplayer it's your preference.

This is more than likely not going to happen, but I think it would be cool?

I don't really think it would fit unless there were playable elites in the campaign, which, given the nature of Locke's associates from the trailer, there very well may be.

The armours look radically different, and in the previous halo games they tried as hard as possible to make the differences purely cosmetic as well, and my idea was mostly applicable for warzone, so that you would have SIIs vs SIVs, following the arc of the campaign.

The #1 problem most of my friends have with H4 customisation is not that you have to unlock your loadouts as you rank up, it's how autistic the armour looks.

But yeah, 90% of the fanbase probably thinks the new armour looks cooler anyway.

Because they're twelve.
This idea satisfies everybody and adds a canon tie in with the campaign.

I just thought it was cool.

I thought Invasion was an incredibly fun gametype, albeit unbalanced. I'm hoping Warzone brings back that progressive, dynamic, and asymmetric gameplay back.

Only if they're not Halo 2-tier damage sponges. Those things would be absolute juggernauts in MP.
