I disliked ORAS but still had the motivation to go after all the legendaries
I loved SM and have zero motivation to get the Tapu's and Necrozma despite knowing where each of them are

Is there an Emerald romhack that's updated to the dex to modern standards, and includes Mega Evolution and stuff? Because that would be the greatest thing ever.

I know there are some romhacks like Vega and Dreamlight that include new (at the time) Pokemon, though I don't think there's anything like that

Rock Head is extremely useful in-game since it allows you to spam Double Edge with impunity.

This, if only Head Smash was available in Gen 3 too

There's also the fact I used one in my first playthrough so I'm attached to it and it's pretty helpful against Wattson

What's the motivation to finish the dex if the national dex isn't in the game in particular. I'm keeping up with the anime at least.

What is it with people taking super long to make moves when they're down to their last Pokemon?

I'm doing the Kanto x Alola tournament and it's been happening a fair bit, it happens on Showdown all the time too
