AND then he couldn't beat the Eradicator alone, he had help from his son, from Lois in the Hellbat armor, and Krypto. AND now he barely survived fighting against Zod, Cyborg Supes, and Eradicator. If he was sooo powerful as you say, he would've already cleaned house, but he didn't. He left the fight blinded and beaten.
