Two BTRs for each team and another at each objective with a Hovertank and C base alongside each team getting two choppers, it is damn near impossible to play Medic on OW. And this is the 360, I dread to think what CQLarge will have on it.

This is the worst map in the entire Final Stand pack, which is otherwise really fun.

I'm actually writing a fairly large post like a mini essay explaining how BF3,4 and 2142 fit together including the 'story' told in the map packs, and how BC could potentially fit into it, though it was already stated they're separate.

However, I do look forward to BC3.

On topic, now: I've had crap luck trying to play Medic in any of the Final Stand maps. Support class with mortar spam is the way to go.

On CQL it's an utter grapefest.
I roam around in the IFV and fuck shit up for the entire round e.e

All the meatbags stand out in the snow and it's just a feeding frenzy heh. However, I haven't had trouble taking out armour on it either. Snowmobile jihadism works wonders.

Karelia is probably my least favourite, even though I still like it. Just because dice didn't smooth the fething terrain at all, so all the 'gentle sloping inclines' are vertical walls that you cannot drive or run up.

I just hang around the Assembly Bay with my MG4 an fuck shit up. I don't particularly approve of C4/ATMine bikes so I don't do it myself. But that map is just an utter BTR/Snipefest.

You're talking to te guy with Ultimate Medic done and 50 hours medic experience. I can play fine on any of the other FS maps, but all of Whiteout's cover just gets destroyed t the objectives making infantry play not fun.

Bitch, I'm a level 113 Brigadier General IV.
I managed to do 200ARkills/50 revives/ 100 heals and 50 grende launcher kills in about two days- I just used the M320 MASS on Locker for a bit. The main thing was defib kills so I just hung round the hills on Whiteout and defib'd snipers. Altogether, I got it in less than a week and I'm nearly done with ultimate support. I don't have the assignments unlocked for Engineer/ Recon (I rarely snipe soI only have 5 marksman ribbons) so I probably won't do them for a while.

I really hope they do 2143, I never got to play 2142 but it looked so cool, and I'm really enjoying Final Stand's 'taster' of 2142 with the Railgun and shit.

Also, have you killed anyone with an icicle yet?

Thanks for the tips, I mainly just heal and revive, rarely ever use grenade launchers since the LVG got nerfed. Honestly, I've only ever gotten 1 defib kill in any Battlefield game and that was on Wake Island 2142. I'm always too greedy with the knife to think of using the defib >.>

Nope, no icicle kills yet, too busy mortar spamming and C4 booby trapping on hardcore to be anywhere near that building. Might finally play Conquest tonight if I feel like it.

Final Stand has some shoutouts to 2142 like the Titan and walker factories (and all the snow), but honestly Carrier Assault in Naval Strike is the most like 2142, minus the laser shields and escaping from an exploding ship. I don't know why DICE neglected to add that last part, because the escape is where heroes are made. (ಥ_ಥ)

Considering they made half a Titan model, they could have easily incorporated TA into maps like GoK and OW, and had Final Stand Carrier Assault. Plus using launch pods.

Depends, sort of. One big part of Titan mode was that Titans were movable. It was very important that they were mobile spawn points and artillery platforms, and I don't know if DICE thought that far ahead when making Frostbite 3 >.>

Plus, it was laggy as heck when the Titans got close to each other.

But I'm really hoping for a new DLC or 2142 sequel regardless. 2142 was the first Battlefield I enjoyed (BF2 was too difficult to start with, between dolphin diving and whatnot), and I don't think I can even play online anymore since the servers were shut down. I don't even care if we get a half-assed remake, I just want something.
