Destiny 2 might actually have a chance at being decent-good. I don't think that Activision will try to play butcher twice in a row, or at least I hope they wont.

But hey it's Activision, maybe they'll do the same thing to Destiny 2 that they did to Destiny 1 anyway.

What's with all the Activision talk? It was Bungie. Bungie is responsible for how the game came out, no one else. And in the end, we probably won't ever know exactly what happened at Bungie to make the game the way it was.

I doubt that. The articles everyone loves to point out(which may not even be true) say Bungie did it. Not Activision. They didn't like how the game turned out, so they cut out a ton of it. And threw together something for the 2014 release. Then it says Bungie made a team pump out TDB in 9 weeks. Which sounds about right. And a good bit of the other stuff is just cut content, redesigned. The Dreadnought ship was supposedly in the original game but served an entirely different purpose.

And that's pretty hard to make up. So I'm inclined to believe it. Basically, the higher ups at Bungie didn't like the structure, or story of the game. So they cut the story out. Entirely. And of course, they had to cut out sections of the game too, otherwise it wouldn't make sense. They only had like a year I guess to throw something together. That's why the story at launch is so bad, and just non-existent.

Destiny 2 will be just as trashy as Destiny. They will most likely copy and paste their bullshit RNG system and claim they "improved" it.
