Multiple of those are completely unique. I do agree about  Dark Pit, Lucina and Dr. Mario though.

It's not JUST about them being unique--some characters are just lame. Like Duck Hunt and Bowser Jr, especially with his ridiculous clown car thing.

I haven't thought up many real characters aside from Wolf (who I voted for twice along with Pichu (sue me)), but it really does feel like you're contributing to the character getting in.

Also, it mentions that the entry deadline is 10/3/2015 so I assume they'll continue making DLC for at least the rest of the year.

Of course it is, but is one vote for your favourite obscure character (not Wolf obviously) gonna cut it? At least having a couple leaves you feeling a bit better, even if that didn't even count.

It seems to me like Lucas is still in early dev stages, as he didn't look nearly as polished as everyone else. Makes sense with a June release. I just wish they'd make him a page on the site already.

Me too. Hopefully they made his attacks more powerful/make him not a heavy character that happens to fly far.

I honestly voted for Dimentio from super paper mario, we need some characters from paper mario in the smash universe, and the ideas behind dimentio and his dimensional transport powers would probably make him a kick ass character to play around with. there's also no legal problems for nintendo that would come about because of it like geno being owned by sqenix.

But not Geno. Fuck Geno.

Too many Mario characters, they'd never get the rights anyway, he's not even that cool to begin with, and it would be like having Mallow as a character.

Now that I think about it, I think Rayman would be cool.

Also why the fuck aren't anyone here talking about the 200cc
