my interest in the game peaked after the Haven battle. everything else didnt measure up. i didnt care for the ending either, but i always thought that was because i wasnt as invested in the lore as the dragon age fans.

I mean, you have this huge goddamn base with an Eluvian mirror, and Corypheus decides to not lay waste to your castle in an attempt to get that mirror?IMO, the only cool thing after the Haven battle was trying to get the Grey Wardens, because I think those guys are freaking badasses. Like, they're the Batmans of Dragon Age. But I agree with you, nothing else held up after Haven. The second half of the game felt more like a chore to get through, especially getting 40 Power Points (and you had to keep refilling it, because for every mission where you get Power you have to spend it for another mission to get more power). By the time I reached the end, it was more of a "Thank God" moment than a buildup to an awesome climax.
