All the other Halo 5 ads are still there. Even the Halo 4 stuff is still up.

With regard to the disparity between the ads in question and the campaign's story direction itself, it's not exactly baseless to assume MS are trying to sweep that debacle under the carpet like it never happened.

And? Nintendo takes down ads for its products too after a while too.

Nintendo removed some of its Treehouse stuff and has others up. Some Treehouse broadcasts are older than the stuff that was taken down.

I'm not seeing why it matters.

Deleting a trailer alone isn't much to talk about. It would just be nice for Microsoft to release some statement about how they goofed on the briefing for the guys doing the advertising. The silent deletion of the old trailers without owning up to the (admittedly minor) incident just looks sneaky and unprofessional.
