Spoiler Metro: Last Light playthrough

Yes, another playthrough thread. This time it's me.
~~I want to up my post count quickly, so I can finally get try out custom nameplate. And, well, to achieve that one either shitposts loudly or makes a playthrough thread - there are no middle grounds.~~

Anyways, I'll post in this thread after each session, so expect more or less regular updates. Depending on how long the session lasts you can expect bigger or smaller posts, but expect more of the latter. I'll keep it concise and to the point.
Oh, and I'll also write in first person about both things that I myself and the MC experience during play, so don't get confused when story related stuff happens. And please point out any errors in my posts so I can correct them.

I should have started this at the beginning of my playthrough though... Quite some stuff has happened already so I'll just summarise it...

I'm Artjom. Living in the metro after an array of nukes obliterated russia. And also some guy who probably made a huge mistake when he launched a missile against the sentient mutants that came to be on the grounds above. Maybe they were peaceful.
Anyways, I wake up in the secret quaters of the rangers in the metro. Even though I apparently was knocked out for two days I'l immediately get sent out to check if the rumours of the sightings of one of these mutants is true, because I am, apparently, able to not go mad when i experience hallucination caused by these mutants. As a support I got a sniper - she keeps calling me 'bunny'. I don't mind.

After putting on the gas mask we leave the metro and check the area. And, lo and behold, we actually get attacked by mutants, but not those we are looking for - these are just some poor animals who probably got too. What we are looking for is a special kind of mutant.
We call them the 'Blacks'.¹
And we get to see one. It seemed like a kid but was incredibly fast to get away, but thanks to my sniper support I actually got hold of him. Though suddenly after I touched him I got flashbacks of the day I launched the missile. And then I passed out.

...And then got captured by Russian Nazis... that's something new.

¹It's not like I want to sound racist (even though that's no problem on this site) but that's what I got from the subtitles. I play with Russian voice overs.

I don't know. I think that my objective being 'kill all blacks' would inspire me to play more. I never got round to finishing 2033.

Continuing on.

I was hold captive by the fascists alongside three others. Shot some guy who, according to their measurments, was mutated. Then they exucuted one of the two communists but the second one actually overpowered the fascist, even though he almost got shot because of it.
He freed me from my shackles and gave me a knife. He took hold of a firearm. I was wary because he was the one with a gun but it turned out he's quite the swell guy. He helped me get out the prison, which is some kind of tower with cages everywhere. These fascist are quite brutal though, throwing knives at some guy just because it's fun to them.

Eventually we got to the speech of the fascist leader. Though we were disguised as the fascists we were found but were able to escape on some motorised vehicle. I wasn't quite able to identify that stuff because I was chased and shot - the game made a great job of making the situation seem urgent.

So, I didn't take any notes the last sessions and I am not in the mood to try to remember everything. Here's a greentext of what I remember.

>mutants sorround us
>run'n'gunning
>eventually get to safe haven

That's it thus far. I will take notes from now on.

I loved the book but I never managed to get into the game, just other stuff that had my attention more and all that.

Fuck the ending though, god damn that made me mad.

What I really like about the game is that you're able to progress without being forced to kill people and can play stealthily.

So yeah, now I'm in the theatre and it's quite irritating.
People are walking around like nothing's going on. It's lively, it's full and somehow it's comfortable.
There's a restaurant, a bar, a shadow theatre and a library. Also there are so many children around - they all don't even know what it's like before any of this happenned.
The bazar houses both grocers and weapon dealers directly next to each other; speaking of the devil, one of them would modify my arsenal for military cartridges.
On my original mission to capture the ~~black~~ dark one, I could choose any weapon I liked - now I gotta actually watch what I buy, since I gotta pay this guy through the nose for the mods. Gotta think about what I need, because this stuff's not only money but emergency ammo too.

I swapped my bastard mp for a duplet two-barrelled shotgun and applied a bull barrell mod on it - this one's for tough ones. My revolver now has a reflecting gunsight too.
Bought some regular ammo to stock up too. I should have everything now.

Only 55 bullets left.

2033's isn't so hard if you take the good choices in scripted bits (most are obvious) and literally explore everywhere.

Still haven't figured out how to do the good ending for Last Light though. Haven't looked at any walkthrough vids because that defeats the point, but I've been a saint in the last 2 playthroughs and I still can't figure it out yet.
