This is the Metal Gear Solid V discussion page, I hope you don't mind me posting here.

It doesn't, though.

Yeah, it explains ONE detail that fans have been wondering about since the beginning. But it brings up for questions than it does answers.

Also, I don't care for Jahn's, especially when it comes to games. He's a movie critic, and not even a good one. I've seen the video before anyways.

That explination makes alot of sence to me... Which is why I think the ending is great! Even genius!

Because it's not. It sacrifices narrative complexity and fan desire (which I'm not usually a fan of, but here, it was desperately needed) for some shitty plot-twist. It's not cool or interesting, and in the end, the game that should've been the MOST important game canonically, ends up being the least important.

The game has no message or motive, it's just gameplay with a few cutscenes to justify it. The ending is just a reskin of the first mission with literally no difference, save ending.

I got the Serval sniper rifle.

It destroys guard towers and cars in one hit.

so everyone says that quiet leaves during 43 (or something like that) and I can exile huey or something, but how do I do any of this? The only mission I have next is 44 and it sounds just like the one you get when you go to africa for the first time.[spoiler/]

a quiet exit mission is unlocked once you have max bond with quiet (mission 45)

exiling huey you have to have at least 60 hours played. do a bunch of side missions
