How sad. I tried searching for a game for at least 40 minutes this evening. What a tragedy, I just wanted to play some Halo 2 multiplayer to relive the glory days.

Are you implying Halo 5 wasn't already sinking the day it came out? It's hard for a game to stay above water when it launches with hardly any content to it.

One of my friends was complaining XBL as a whole was down and he couldn't play H5. Might have been that.

Resetting your router won't fix the networking problems inherent in MCC, I have to wait from 2 minutes> 6 > 30mins sometimes. The game is a mess

I find matches easy sometimes. And sometimes, I can't find matches at all. At least there's Halo 5. After playing through the originals I like them more though. I had never played Halo or even had an Xbox. Bought one January last year and got the MCC. Enjoyed all 4 games and ODST. And I've enjoyed Halo 5.

Are you sure it's not just MCC's netcode being absolutely shit? Played Halo 3 last year when it said 5300 people were online, and I still got a match in 5 minutes.

Also daily reminder that server browsers are objectively the best form of online gaming.

Not always. Sometimes you just want to hop into a match and not spend time scrolling through overpopulated or completely barren lobbies, or walls of servers with the most retarded rules or settings.
That said, however, including a server browser never hurt anyone, and can only make things better.

tfw 2016 and it's still not a standard feature to have an option for both in online multiplayer games
