And Chief doesn't show up on Locke's. Neat little find here.

That little dot on the radar is just part of the pillar. Neither one of them shows up on the other's radar.

So?
The fact that Halo 5 exists with a character named Locke is already fucking baffling.I really wish the franchise wasn't heading towards this direction. I actually hate what they did with Halo 4.These games are like the fucking Star Wars Prequels to me.

Lost already executed a fictional character with the same last name. I don't understand why Halo needs to get that out of the way. Do we really need Chief to go rouge and pretty much become an enemy to the UNSC?

This is a case of, Chief's doing what he's doing because he can see the bigger picture, and ONI are being scumbags behind his back. The UNSC no doubt still supports him.

The only one that was similar to Combat Evolve's vibe was ODST really. Also, let's make one thing perfectly clear. Halo CE is the ONLY Halo game that has one Game of the year, and that has a fuck load of technical flaws, but the story and hell even the gameplay is award winning regardless. All of the others? Nope.Halo 4? Not a chance. My point is, Halo 5 isn't going to do very well as far as the canon goes. Halo 4 was already a colossal disappointment in my eyes. Halo 2 and 3, while the story had a nice atmosphere, completely different vibe, it felt like a different fucking game. (Still good but could have been better if Halo 2 and 3 were 1 game) and ODST I believe was Halo's maximum potential in terms of story. However, with all that said, nothing can beat the original. When I heard of Halo Reach, honestly, if Bungie just reused the music from Halo 1 while making a new game with a new engine that is still very CEish in terms of animation and design, though the animation would be new, but if they kept it close to the original source, it could have worked easily and possibly been another Game of The Year, but they fucked it up with new characters that get axed off quickly. If you guys really enjoy Halo 5, have fun with it when it's out. For me, the definitive Halo and I mean whenever I think of the franchise Halo, will always be the original. Not the stupid remastered one that Saber Interactive shat out, the original Bungie classic, which was heavily flawed technically, but had a charm to it.Can that same charm come back in any of the future Halo games? Doubt it. You know why? Because this generation of Halo fans, mainly the fanboys, are like drones. Oh god the fans in my city are so bad here, they make the COD fans here look like normal people.*sigh*I really miss the old days. I just wish shit would go back to the way it used to be with games and the Xbox.My sister's right. I'm pretty much lost with the direction Xbox and Halo headed.

That's a good question. Of which I've no apparent answer.
So does that mean Halo 5 is about team killing?
Pardon my rudeness, but I think it's just nerd cocktease passed as food until E3. I mean, what next, a screenshot of the HUD pointing against a rock and the rock appears friendly, and will the internet detectives go onto investigating the correlation of the rock with the Halo universe and everything therein?Quote from: Sandtrap on April 02, 2015, 01:32:15 AMThat's a good question. Yes, in TDM you don't earn points by killing your enemy, but you earn points by killing your team-mates and planting flags of ONI on their corpses while t-bagging them for maximum effect. After the match, you will get a short clip of UNSC's flag waving and its anthem while your Spartan tears.Quote from: The Satanic Mandalore on April 02, 2015, 06:38:29 AMSo does that mean Halo 5 is about team killing?
the one true God is Doctor Doom and we should all be worshiping him.
