Even though Titanfall suffered with content, more weapons is the exact opposite of what the game needs to be good.


Part of what a love about titanfall is it's weapon sandbox.
It's small, each weapon is well balanced and serves it's purpose, and there's very little redundancy.

You have one shotgun, One bolt action sniper rifle with a high skill gap, one Semi Auto Sniper rifle that isnt a cheap spam untill you hit a one shot kill device, 2 submachine guns, One Full auto assault Rifle, One Burst Assault Rifle and one semi auto assault rifle, One sustained fire machine gun that isnt just a bigger assault rifle, and a specialty weapon in the smart-pistol.

Every weapon has it's place and I hope to god in titanfall 2 it doesn't end up like CoD or Battlefeild where we have 3 billion weapons of the same class, each being shittier than the last, and having 7 trillion  tacticool™ attachments that either do nothing or break the game's balance even further.

I don't want an M16A3 or BAL 27 Inferno scenario in Titanfall 2

I wish more games would have the simplicity of titanfall's loadouts for balance sake, or even forgo them altogether like Halo

I want Titan loadouts to change. Once you unlocked Quad Rocket, Electric Smoke and Cluster Bomb, there was no point in using anything else.

Stuff like Plasma Railgun, Triple Threat and the XO-16 Chaingun were basically useless. Titan loadouts need an overhaul, but the pilot weapons were pretty well balanced.
